Comedy Cave's English Stand Up Nights are back! You're more than welcome to join the third installment of the English nights on the 11th of December (Wednesday) in Mayhem night club (Koskikatu 5). The first two English Stand Up Nights were held in Comedy Cave in April and September and both nights sold out and the audience and comedians had a blast laughing for two full hours 💃🌟🎤

You don't want to miss this event, as it is the best (and only 😏) comedy club in Joensuu where you get to hear stand up comedy in English language 😅 The 11th of December night will be a "New Bits" night. It means that the comedians build up and practice new jokes or get up on the stage for the first time. The venue is a pub / night club and fits70 people in the audience.

There is a small discount if you buy tickets from the webshop in advance (9€). The tickets go at 11€ when bought at the venue.

Performers of the 11th of December English stand up comedy night: The MC - Leben Norrie Our host and MC for the night, Leben Norrie is a Helsinki based New Zealander who has been working the comedic stage since 2012. A finalist of the Raw Comedy Quest 2014 and Nominated twice for joke of the year (2015/2016) in New Zealand, Leben has been regaling Finnish audiences with his anecdotal quips and strange facts since moving to Finland, with his wife and three cats in 2017. Leben will make you chuckle with his random asides and comedic tangents as he guides you through the ins and outs of working and living, as a New Zealander, in Helsinki; he’ll also school you in special conservation efforts from his home country, Just remember to bring a helmet.

Fabien is a French born, American raised artist. He lives in Helsinki with one ex-wife, one new wife and four children.

Janne Hyttinen is a nice guy, the one that your grandmother would cherish! A person who wouldn't even hurt a fly :)

Kyle Ray Kyle comes from the UK and has a dry, deadpan, incredulous, exhausted with the world kind of style in comedy. Frustrated with the human race.

Joona Kotilainen Joona is your friendly neighbourhood science guy, who takes comedy a bit too seriously. He will do show statistics and read Wikipedia aloud on stage. The only problem is that he is (almost) 2 meters tall, so there's no one there to stop him. He's also the producer of the Comedy Cave stand up nights.

Janne Laahanen - Janne Laahanen is a semifinalist in the "Stand up rookie of the year 2024" competition! Janne Laahanen is a comedian currently based in Tampere. Janne is a wholesomely silly wonderer of life who's moving towards the middle-age and the dooming reality of the limitations of his abilities. Janne's material is based on the everyday life of his, spiced with self deprecation and surprising solutions!

Juha Lönnqvist - Originally hailing from Lahti, Juha brings his unique charm to the stage like thousand bulls. Just kidding, he's a tired, almost middle-aged guy who jokes about himself and his life. Occasionally he might bring up random facts about things you never even thought about.

Tickets: Tickets are sold in advance from the webshop 9€. If there are tickets remaining at the door, they will be 11€. Arrival: When you arrive at the club, show the receipt of the purchase. There are no separate tickets delivered.
